HIRING OPPORTUNITY: Coding specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Coding Specialist to join our team. As a Coding
Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately assigning medical codes to diagnoses, procedures, and
services for proper billing and reimbursement. Your expertise in medical coding and knowledge of
medical terminology will be essential in ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with coding
guidelines.
-The qualified candidate must have completed a Medical Coding and/or Health Information
Technician Program or have at least two years of coding-related experience in a Medical Clinic
setting
– Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
– Stay up to date on all coding changes and relay necessary information to the Administrator
– Assist with questions from other billing staff regarding claim denials or rejections
– Strong analytical skills to review documentation and identify coding discrepancies
– Full time-32-40 hours a week
